Children’s Yoga with Sat Rattan Kaur

Join Sat Rattan Kaur Khalsa for a fun day that will inspire and prepare you to share children’s yoga with 3 to 11 year olds. This workshop is for teachers, parents and all those who desire to share the joy of teaching yoga to children.
This course will explain the principles and goals for teaching children yoga. Child development, communication and energy balance will also be applied to the classroom experience.
Each pre-registered student will receive a Teacher Manual full of yoga poses and sequence ideas for children.
Sat Rattan created an innovative children’s yoga program: incorporating yoga, anatomy and physiology, diet and nutrition and taught 13 weekly children’s yoga classes. She has also taught children’s yoga at yoga conferences, children’s bereavement camps and summer youth camps.
Sat Rattan began practicing Kundalini yoga in 1978 and trained with Yogi Bhajan for many years. Her specialty is teaching children’s yoga, but she has taught all ages, from 3 years old to 85. She brings over 25 years experience teaching in Montessori Schools and is a certified Montessori educator. Sat Rattan is a Sr. Teacher and the Lead Trainer for the San Francisco East Bay Area KRI Teacher Training Level 1 program, as well as a KRI Level 2 Trainer.
8:30am – 4:30pm
Course Fee: $125.
Pre-register by March 15th to receive the discount rate of $108., and reserve your teacher manual. Space is limited.
